Investec Asset Management is a specialist, active investment manager with core offerings in global equities, fixed income and multi-asset management.
We believe markets are inefficient and we can exploit these inefficiencies over time to generate alpha for investors, through our fundamental commodity research analysis and commodity price forecasts and our bottom up resource equity analysis.
Our equity resource analysis focuses on five key factors which are capital management, asset quality, valuation, earnings and momentum.
Positions are taken based on a six month to two year view of the market, though shorter term trades are done, depending on market conditions at the time.
